about me
Austin Kimmell is a New England-based filmmaker, animator and cartoonist.
A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, his past experience includes client work for Nickelodeon as a storyboard revisionist on SpongeBob SquarePants. as well as work for MIT, Braintickle LLC, Tribe WOD, and Bird's Eye Comics. He's also made a name for himself as an award-winning director of independent films, including Dracula, the Literal Moron (2022) and Put A Stick In It (2020), winner of the inaugural Vanishing Angle Post Grant. His work has received favorable notice from Newgrounds and Film Shortage.
He currently resides in his hometown of Quincy, Massachusetts, where he's hard at work on a number of projects, including his debut feature!
